OIL WATER SEPARATOR
Twentynine Palms, CA
CJW Construction was contracted by NAVFAC to perform the repair and rehabilitation of a major Oil and Water Separator Facility that collected and contained the industrial wash waters from three large motorpools at this active Marine Corps installation. The project involved the pumping and removal of accumulated wastewater, the hydroblast cleaning of the facility, the replacement of the sump pumps and installation of a new engineered, pre-packaged lift station and 1,000 gallon waste oil collection tank. The project also included construction of the new lift station to force main piping, installation of a completely new electrical control system and electrical service to the site, and the re-coating of the concrete oil-water separation cells and replacement of the internal piping systems within the facility.
