The Lower Santa Ana River (LSAR) Dredging Project provided final downstream improvements, maintenance, and channel capacity for the large Prado and Seven Oaks Dam Flood Control project.  It ultimately consisted of dredging, excavation, and removal of over a million tons of sediment from LSAR.  The project spanned from the Pacific Ocean to the 405 freeway, and also required extensive clearing and grubbing along the Reach 2 upper mile channel.
